Several Things To Address This Morning

1. No. My anniversary post was in no way a pregnancy announcement. But that would have been pretty funny if it was, though.

2. Yes, I am aware I have my word verification enabled. Hopefully you all are better at figuring out the letters than I am. You probably are. If enough of you aren't though, I will consider unenabling it and just letting Davi from Brazil leave comments in broken English about his exciting enterprises. They're kind of entertaining, actually.

3. I really want to have a Bad Dance Party where everyone could come and show off their worst white-man dancing skillz. The Running Man. The Roger Rabbit. All while shutting your eyes and biting your bottom lip, of course. With lots of snapping and clapping, too. I think it would be such a fun party and no one would be scared or intimidated to dance because the worse you dance, the better you would be. The absolute worst dancer of the night would win the grand prize, which would be a giant loaf of Wonder Bread. Go is all for it. We really want to do it. The few people I have talked to about this idea didn't get too excited. I got responses like "Would I be doing this sober? I don't know..." and "It would be fun to watch..." So I am setting a poll on my sidebar. I want honest answers people, because I'm not going to go through the trouble of planning a (rad) party if people think it's a lame-o idea.

4. Right now there is a bee in my house, just buzzing around and taunting me with his little stingy self. I am more afraid of bees than any other insect, even spiders. Today I am grateful for fly swatters.

Um, not only would Stephen and I go to a bad dance party...but we would win. I mean he would win. Hands down. 6'5" of pure crazy arms and legs that don't listen to what the head tells it to do. Wanna come to AZ and have the party here?

1. reading through the comments on your anniversary post was the funniest thing I've read all day.

2. I need to know what kind of bad music would accompany the bad dance moves--I mean, some songs just bring out the bad dancer in me. Here's a few gems from the stake dance days: Funky Town, the Chicken Dance, Welcome to Miami, Macarena, My Heart Will Go On (with 50 wallflower girls singing along), Love Shack, Istanbul (Not Constantinople) . . .

I voted in your poll even though I:
1. Would not be invited.
2. Don't have the cash to fly all the way to PA even if I WAS invited.

But I wanted to vote because I think it would only be one of the funnest parties EVER!! Maybe Jeff and I will have to throw our own bad dance party. This would pretty much include us and the kids dancing badly together because I'm sure nobody else would come. Aren't people boring??
luvs, aby

PS - the word verification I am about to do is VERY tricky this time and I'm sure I won't get it right.

I don't suppose you could throw it together really quick? Like perhaps next Friday night, when a certain uncoordinated couple will be under your roof?

mine's easy: jbddko. barely even slanted!!

Don't forget to play Rock Lobster at your party. And something by MC Hammer. Oo, oo, and Ice Ice Baby. Now I'm REALLY sad I won't be there!!!!

p.s. Is that a picture of you practicing for the party, or avoiding the bee??

Could you put the winners on youtube? You know, for those of us who couldn't be there, but would like to enjoy the show. I would hope that Go would be throwing around the "No-No" dance, but maybe now that he's married it's the "Yes-Yes" dance? You don't need to answer that.

Your hair looks very pretty. And I like your cute top. What a cute little mommy you are.

One of my all-time favorite things to do is to dance off beat with all sorts of claps and snaps, quick turns and carlton-esque aerobicized moves. If people haven't experienced it, you need to throw a party to show them the secret key to life-long happiness. DO IT!

If I were able to come to your bad dance party not only would I dance my worst, but I would also bring my two strobe lights and black lights. You KNOW the Sotutus know how to really get down. Don't you wish you were coming to the lake this summer?

Oh and you totally look like a hot mama version of John in that picture, at least when he doesn't have mounds of facial hair.

You already know that we would totally be there. We're always up for weird parties, especally ones where Dan can show off his skillz. It would be hilarious to videotape the "contestants" and re-mix it into a sweet music video. I'm hoping to wear my purple suede cut-off leather jacket complete with wide attached belt. (no joke, I used to wear it w/ black MC Hammer pants). Can't touch this!
