Lately:
-Juniper, my dear, sweet, darling fourth child has been kicking my booty. I wouldn't describe her as colicky but she's definitely gassy and has trouble getting that gas out, which makes her extremely fussy at times and still nursing every 2 hours, and not very well. She sleeps ok at night but hardly at all during the day--only if she's in her swing and only for 20 minutes at a time. It's hard to get anything done and go anywhere. It's just been...hard.
-I've been dealing with a number of ailments, two of them being a crazy, unexplicable, insanely itchy rash that covered my body for about 4 or 5 weeks and then last week, a bout of the stomach flu which hit me (and Olive) like a wrecking ball.
-Things have been clicking right along with setting up the practice. We've got our sights set on an office space and hope to solidify that soon. We'll be located in and affiliated with the beautiful San Martin Hospital in southwest Las Vegas for the next 3 years.

Things on the docket for the next 5 months and well, year and years to come:
-get our place market-ready
-sell our house
-get rid of a bunch of our stuff
-move to Vegas
-find a fantastic rental home in a fantastic neighborhood zoned for a fantastic school in a fantastic ward, close enough to Go's office and within the same high school where we hope to build in the next several years...this seems like a large feat, with a lot of moving parts, but I have hope all the stars will align.
-physically set up Reynolds Plastic Surgery
-make enough money to replace a bunch of the stuff we chuck
-repay med school loans
gah.

What a beautiful hospital! I love how gutsy you guys are.
You can do it! It makes me really excited for you. The next 6 months will go faster than you're ready for- hooray!
I'm tired just reading this, but one day at a time and it will happen! I have a friend who occasionally writes "I did" lists instead of "to do" lists so she can mentally feel better. I already feel like you have one heck of a good "i did" list from the last 10 years, so the next should be just the same, right?! Can't wait to catch up next week.

I've been tempted to email you pestering you about how things were coming along with the job, move, etc..., so my nosy self is happy for this post. I'm excited to see it all play out and will be crossing my fingers there's another Roger out there just waiting to move put of his parents' basement and into your house.
Your Juni sounds alot like my fourth child...Sarah grew out of it, and we both survived!
That is where I'm planning on delivering in March! It's a nice hospital and so far we've had good experiances with the staff there. That's where Danny stayed when he got that bad infection in his knee. Anyway, we are so excited for you guys to be here soon! You'll have to let us know what area you're looking at, because that area near the hospital is part of our stake. Good luck with every thing!
It does my heart good to see you blogging.
It does my heart bad to think of this hard new-born phase, you moving, you busy, us far-apart....you get the general idea.
Glad to hear an update on your future plans, and good to hear that the start-up has been smooth. We are trying to do a ped. dental start-up in NM at the same time, but had many obstacles.
Sorry to hear about your colicky baby. Those days/nights are long and tiring. Hang in there...at least she's cute! ps love the name Juni
