May, aka May-May, May Bone, Fatty!

There aren't any real pictures of May on here, I realized! May is 10 months, standing up, scaling along all the furniture and standing on her own until she gets so excited, flapping her arms and then falls. She gets right back up and tries again. She loves to wrestle with her sister and and can hold her own - she's an aggressive little thing. She's a little shorty, always in the 15th percentile for height, around 75th for weight and ALWAYS 90th for head circumference. Holds all those brains. She says "Da-da", "Ma-ma", "Ba-Ba" and "Ni-Ni" (for night-night.) She's a sweetie, even if she is a little Lucha Libre!

Life in the East

So we've really liked PA so far. Here are some of the things that the East Coast has to offer:

We took a trip to Baltimore one day back in July, mostly to eat good seafood. It was over 100 degrees that day, but still fun.

This is the "Star Barn" that is just down the road from us. You can actually see it in the background of one of the pictures with Ruby and "Sand Castle." Brandon likes to go and take pictures of it sometimes during his time off. He has taken some gorgeous black and white photography. I'll post those when he's done "tweaking" with them. But here are some pretty straight forward ones to show what it looks like.

The family pet

Meet Ruby's new pet caterpillar. She named him "Sand Castle."

A few house pics

The front room. Someday there will be a couch in here, below the square mirrors.

I painted these fish on Ruby's wall. Once the curtains/valance get done, I'll post pics of the whole room.

My art studio! Ta-da!

More to come...

Budding artist

Ruby has been having a great time drawing on our chalkboard wall down in the basement. Here are some of her latest creations she titled "Silly Balloons." Once you get past the fact that they look like smiley faced sperm, they really are quite charming!

Here is a drawing she did of me when I was a baby. Spitting image. No seriously, the image spits!

I gave in

All right, so I finally caved and started my own blog. It's an easy way to get information out to the people who want to know how we are doing, so here you go. Feel free to look and post and do whatever, whenever. I'll post every couple of days or so.
